This summer it will be musical again at Helenensee. From July 28th to 31st, many well-known musicians and bands will be on stage at the lake again. The Helenensee is also called the "small Baltic Sea" and is without question one of the most beautiful lakes in Germany. So a great place for a music festival! The lake is only eight kilometers from downtown and is surrounded by a beautiful pine forest. An absolute highlight is the beautiful sandy beach. While the lake usually stands for relaxation, it has been getting noisy at the lake for a few days in summer for a few years now. Since 2011, the Helene Beach Festival has drawn music fans from all over the region to the sandy beach. This year around 100 musicians and bands are coming to the seven stages. There are many well-known artists such as Jennifer Rostock and Fritz Kalkbrenner, but also newcomers and local bands. It starts on Wednesday with the anchor party on the beach terrace. There will be dancing first, before the Festival Opening Party begins on the festival grounds on Thursday. By the way, the motto of the event this time is “One Beach. One festival. One Love." . Festival feeling and beach holidays come together at Lake Helenensee. The "Helene", as the locals call it, is not only worth a visit for the Helene Beach Festival.
