The Brecht Weigel House is located in Buckow in Märkische Schweiz and is definitely worth a visit. Since 1977 there has been a memorial for the writer Bertholt Brecht and his wife, the actress Helene Weigel. The artist couple had had a summer residence in the village since 1952. Today, among other things, furnishings, set models and costumes from the play "Mother Courage and Her Children" are exhibited in the couple's house.

The Scharwenka Kulturforum in Bad Saarow is probably not quite as well known, although an artist also lived here. The listed house belonged to the pianist, composer and music teacher Xaver Scharwenka, who lived from 1850 to 1924. In the years 1910 and 1911 he had the house built with pine wood from America. Today the first musicians' museum in Brandenburg is located here, as well as a Scharwenka archive about his work and that of his brother Philipp. There is also a small gallery in the house where local artists exhibit their works.

One of the most famous sights in the region is probably the Neuzelle monastery, which attracts many visitors from the Hotels in Frankfurt-Oder visit. Among other things, there are depictions of the Passion from around 1750 to admire. Originally, these were stage sets of a baroque theater. The pictures are unique in Europe and can be admired in the "Heavenly Theater" museum since 2015.
